Heinz Friedrich PUHLMANN

PUHLMANN, Heinz Friedrich Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich, Ontario, on Friday, April 6, 2018 in his 84th year. Cherished husband to Maureen (née Hardy) for over 54 years. Beloved father to Kaye (Paul Nobles) and Karen (Sanjay Patel) Puhlmann who will miss him immensely. Adored Opa of Ava, Alexandra, Kate and Veronica. Loving brother to Brita Klos and Gesine Walter. Heinz was born in Guben, Germany and immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1955 where he met his future wife Maureen. They married in December, 1963 and moved to Burlington. Heinz started the family business – a printing company – at Bloor and Yonge in Toronto in 1977 and was among the first in the city to digitize the printing process. He retired in 1998 to the Cottage near Goderich with Maureen and has lived in Goderich for the last 5 years. At Heinz's request, the family will not hold a service. His cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital or Goderich Healthy Hearts would be appreciated by the family.
