Heinz will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Jo-Anne (née Melnichuk); sons Christopher (Meghan) and Jonathan (Mila); nephews, Peter (Sabine) and Bruno (Nicole); and his dear friends, the Schelling class, whose friendship extends back to grade school and across continents. Heinz worked for Pringle and Booth for over 30 years as a photo retoucher. He will be forever remembered as a loving husband and father, and always putting others before himself. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heinz's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. As per Heinz's wishes, no service will be held. The family will gather to celebrate his life at a later date. Please visit Heinz's obituary on www. giffenmackscarborough.com to receive an update when a date has been decided upon.

The Wall I first met as I turned 18 years old. He was a mentor and friend and an on and off boss and co-worker for 25 years. He showed me how to be a gentleman, not that I learned, but he showed me through example. The same for work ethic, again he taught through example. I introduced Joanne to Heinz and years later he introduced me to their two sons. You got your memories I got mine. --- The Rand
