HELEN BERNICE MASTERS (nee LUCAS) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Helen suddenly as the result of a tragic accident on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Loving wife of Andrew. Extraordinary mother to Evan (and close friend to Veronica). Dear daughter of Judy (Helena) and the late Peter Lucas. Beloved sister to Kerry (Graham), daughter-in-law of Antoni and Dorothy Mastalerz, sister-in-law of Paul (Monica). Devoted aunt to Cheryl and Michelle. Helen worked with OPG for the majority of a very successful career gaining friends too numerous to mention. She loved the cottage on Miskwabi Lake, Haliburton, crystals, skiing at Caledon, greyhounds, dragonflies, periwinkle and had recently taken up ceramic pottery. Helen had a great sense of humour and a proud spirit that never dwindled. She will be loved forever. Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge (905-852-3073), on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. The Service will commence at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception and refreshments.
