Helen McGill Obituary
MCGILL, Helen Gertrude (Webb) - Peacefully at Tri-Town Extendicare Nursing Home in Haileybury on July 17, 2010 after a full life at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her parents; her husbands: John Doe and John McGill; and by her son Bruce Doe. Mrs. McGill is survived by her loving daughter Ada (Doug) Shearer of Cobalt; and daughter-in-law Sue Doe of Mississauga. Fondly remembered by grandchildren: Paul (Jill), Victoria (Mark), Sarah (Jamie), Jeff, Ellen (Jennot), Ross; great- grandchildren: Jack, Bridget, Chloe, Benjamin and Quinn. Also survived by her niece Jean and nephew George. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from Runnymede United Church - Toronto. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated by the family. Helen was known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Gran. We remember her with love and respect, and cherish the time we had with her.
