Helen Morton Obituary

MORTON, Helen May Jane (nee Pitcher) - Died peacefully at West Park Long Term Care Centre on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Robert Howard Morton. Cherished and much loved mother to Howard (Marina Browne) and Lou-Anne (Dana Ruttkay) and sister to Margaret Coates. A special thanks to Helen's dear friend Erika Machat, the wonderful staff and her friends at West Park. A memorial service to celebrate Helen's life will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 11 a.m., at The Church of Christ the King, 475 Rathburn Road, Etobicoke. A reception will be held at the church after the service. For those planning to attend the service, Helen loved the colour pink, so if you have something pink please wear it. If desired, the family respectfully requests donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Lung Association.

To My Sister Lou-Anne!
Mere Mortal words can not convey the pearls of wisdom that I would Love to use right now to ease your pain of sorrow and lose! Blessed are those that Mourn for they Shall be Comforted! Your are in my Heart and Prayers! Helen was a real joy to be with she always brought out laughter in my! The angles most be having way to much fun right now with her! Lou-Anne as Long as you Hold her in your heart she will always be there with you. Peace and Blessings.
