Helen Yotis Obituary
HELEN YOTIS At the age of 74, after a courageous battle with cancer for six years. Predeceased by her husband Paul. Beloved, cherished and admired mother of John and Mary. Born in Sklithro, Greece, she was the first in her large family to come to Canada, to be married and working alongside her husband in the family business. Mom was known for her quick wit, intelligence as well as having an artistic, creative side in everything she did, especially in the home. Nicknamed "The French Chef" by her husband for her excellent cuisine. Mom was kind and generous, opening her home to family and friends alike. She also had a love of the countryside and nature, along with gardening. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by family and friends in Canada, Greece and Australia. "We love you forever until we meet again." Private family service, with a Memorial Mass to be held at a later date.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. She truly was a gracious and welcoming hostess to those who visited her. I have such wonderful fond memories of times on Allanhurst were I felt loved and welcomed. Until we meet again Mrs. Y., you will be missed dearly.
