Henriette de KLOET Obituary

HENRIETTE de KLOET

December 2, 1952 ~ December 8, 2015

Peacefully after a courageous battle with brain cancer, with her family by her side, Henriette entered into rest in the early morning on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Henriette leaves behind her loving husband Bertil after 34 wonderful years of marriage and children Caroline and Sebastian, wooden shoes, wooden head, wouldn't listen, who were raised in true Dutch fashion. Henriette will be remembered with warmth by her brother Hans-Carl, and countless friends she called family. She was the most active and healthy woman you could ever imagine, always putting her family, students and her friends before herself. Here, she can only affect so many, as an angel, she can affect countless more and positively affecting people was what she was best at. For her fight she will be commended, but for her strength, smile and endless facial expressions, she will be remembered.

Henriette had a smile that could not be defeated. I can hear her laughter even now, many years since we were together at Beaches Church. She died too soon, and that is so very hard to accept. I will not forget her. May the sacred promises of a love stronger than death give you comfort and hope for all that lies ahead.
