HERTA KILGER

KILGER, HERTA With much sadness, the family of Herta Kilger share the news of her passing, on her birthday, December 4, 2020, peacefully, at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1928, she grew up in Wiblingen with her 2 sisters, Lisa and Heidi. She immigrated to Canada in the 1950s and became a Hairdresser, which she enjoyed for many years. Herta was predeceased by her husband, Alwin (2000). She will be greatly missed by her sisters, her brother, Hans and family in Germany, who must, unfortunately, say goodbye from afar. She also leaves behind her daughter, Marion and many other dear friends. The family is especially grateful for the friendships and kindness of Guenther, Ilse, Maria, Cathy, Tiu, Josh, and the medical caregivers at Stouffville Creek and MSH. A private gathering of friends and family will take place sometime in the future.
