I am very sad to realize the passing of a friend and a teacher of mine. Hilda, Ms Dymott was My typing and law teacher. I did extremely well in her class. First I was
I was young and I had this Hot teacher so I new I was off to a good start a Malvern. She was so very kind and interested in the welfare of her students, as students and as a person. Because of her and the way she treated me I wanted to become a teacher, just like her. I did become a teacher but there was only one Hilda Dymott. Many years later in both our lives we connected for a brief phone call.It was very up lifting to hear the voice. It had not changed. This small tribute to a very gracious, lovely lady may be late, but I will always remember her smile and thoughtfulness to me.

Miss Dymott was my typing teacher who unfortunately had students like Tony Gaito, Wayne Jackson Dave Harris and I in her class, how she survived us was a miracle. But I look back now in my senior years and I realize what a wonderful person she was. To her shock I ended up on the Police Force and one day I met her in court as she was there with a Class. She recognized me and asked what I was doing here and I informed her I was a Police Officer and her Class was sitting in on my trial, she was shocked I was a Police Officer and said are you sure you are not the accused, with both laughed. God Bless You Miss Dymott may you Rest In Peace and my Condolences to your family

I’m very saddened to hear this. My condolences to her family. Miss Dymott was my teacher for both Typing and Law, and I learned a lot from her in both classes. She was a very kind lady who left an impressive legacy of countless, well-taught students.

Sad news about a wonderful person.
My condolances to her family and friends.
Even if you didn't take typing you knew Miss Dymott and for us graduating in the 60s it was interesting to hear into the 70s and 80s that Miss Dymott is still at MCI.

Ms. Dymott was probably the sweetest teacher at Malvern. She always had a smile and a kind word for each of us whether we saw her in the hall or in the classroom. I had the pleasure of taking both typing and stenography with Ms. Dymott and enjoyed both classes throughout. When I reflect on my time at Malvern, my memories of Ms. Dymott always leave me with a smile. I’m glad she was able to impact the lives of so many more high school kids after my time at Malvern in the 80’s. Rest In Peace.❤

I will always remember Ms Dymott, and smile. She had a kind heart and always greeted me with a warm smile. What an amazing teacher she was! When she realized that with my short little legs I couldn’t touch the ground, she had the caretaker make me a stool. May she Rest In Peace. She definitely earned the wings of an angel

Hilda was one of the most admired of a generation of outstanding teachers at Malvern Collegiate. May her courtesy, thoughtfulness and dedication to teaching serve as an example and inspiration to others.
We, her fellow teachers, regarded her as the ultimate lady.

Miss Dymott was one of my most memorable teachers at Malvern Collegiate. She taught me to type 50 years ago, a skill that stayed with me my whole life. She also in later years was my son’s computer keyboard teacher. She was a very patient and kind teacher and I will never forget her.

The kindest lady and dear friend to my late Mother, Frances Olejnik. Our family adored Hilda. She will be missed and fondly remembered. My Mom will be glad of her great friend up there in heaven to join her.

As a parent of two Malvern students, I worked on several Commencement celebrations with Ms. Dymott. She was such a lady and always brought such class to the special event.

I am very saddened to hear this news. I just spoke to Hilda the day after her Birthday. She was not only my most favourite teacher at Malvern but a long time friend as well. We have kept in touch over the years. I always enjoyed speaking with her. I will miss her very much. She was a wonderful, warm and caring woman.
With my deepest sympathies to Hilda's family and neighbours who she spoke so highly about.
With love and in friendship

I worked with Hilda at Malvern Collegiate between 1963 - 1972 and we managed to keep in touch ever since. She defined the word 'lady'. I will miss our occasional phone calls, birthday & Christmas card exchanges. Rest in peace my friend.
