MORIYAMA, Hisatoshi (Tosh) - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 14th, 2009 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Yoshiye Moriyama (nee Kameoka) Tosh and devoted and cherished father of Alan and Leslie and Glenna and Michael. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Keetja, Sky, Dylan, Daisy, Emma, and great-grandson, Beo. Affectionately remembered by sisters-in-law Aiko, June, Pat, Mitzi, Claire, May, Tomi, and brothers-in-law Hank, Paul, Yuki, Ken, Terry, and his many nephews and nieces. Tosh was born in Vancouver, BC and was predeceased by brothers Steve, Tak, Mit, Seibi and sister Mary. Tosh touched the lives of many people during his life and he will be remembered for his genuine strength of character. He was a generous volunteer in the Japanese-Canadian community and always extended a helping hand to everyone. Our family would like to thank the staff at Castleview - Wychwood Towers who provided excellent care for Tosh in his final years. We invite all family and friends to a celebration of the lives of Yosh and Tosh that will be held on Sunday, June 28 at 2 p.m. in the Heritage Hall at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, 6 Garamond Court, Toronto, Ontario M3C 1Z5.
