I would like to extend my sympathies to the family, especially Barbara and Melissa. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure your father and grandfather is resting in peace in the arms of the Lord.

Mr. Vaughan was principal when I attended York Memo in the 70s. He was a kind person, who was always interested in what we were doing -- no matter how crazy it was. He liked to be out in the hallways, and always had a friendly word or two. In the year he retired, he was given the final line in the play and sang the final song with all us on stage. It was a lovely moment, and I am glad I was there to share in it. Rest in peace, Mr. Vaughan.
