Uncle Hugh was a kind, gentle man who dearly loved his two special girls, Glenda and Sandra. Their devotion in turn would make any parent proud.
He also had a true passion for the game of golf and loved to be on the links. In 1957/58 while visiting us in Rivers, Manitoba he introduced my father to the game and there was no looking back. Now in the MacMillan family, we are into the third generation of avid, caliber golfers!
...and, yes, he did love to dine. I will always remember the many times he treated us to meals at the Mandarin in Toronto.
Thinking of you
Love Pat

Boomer (read “Long Driver”) was a wonderful Uncle to Bryan and me! During recent years we were very privileged to spend quality time with Hugh on the golf course and in our home in Guelph. There, we shared many memorable feasts of his favorite dishes which included wild turkey and venison prepared lovingly by my wife Sharon. We will miss him greatly but have so many wonderful memories to comfort us!

It was so reassuring and heart-warming to witness the great devotion of daughters Sandra and Glenda and their families to their father during his last days.
