My sympathies to you all. I have many kind memories of your Father from my youth in the neighbourhood. You are each an extension oh him and that should sustain you in difficult times. I wish you all peace.

Dear Judy, Lissy, Danny and Andi --
I was really sorry to hear about Hugh's death. I've been thinking about you all and thinking very fondly of Hugh. My memories always have him wearing his toque, whether building the tree house, setting up the trampoline, building the bunk beds... Very happy that I had a quick chance to see him last May on my drive through Bennington Heights when I was back for Billy's birthday.
Love to you all,
Joni

Dr. T was a role model for many of us during our training. Some surgeons would approach a problem with the mindset of "what can I do for this patient", whereas he taught "what does this patient need". This is not a subtle difference, and exemplified his nature to consider the needs of others first. I am grateful for having known this 'awesome' man.
