Ian Paul ARCHER

1958 - 2023

ARCHER, Ian Paul October 10, 1958 – April 19, 2023 After a short illness, Ian passed away April 19, 2023, at Scarborough General Hospital, aged 64. Ian is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joyce (nee Major); and their son, Devon. Ian was born in Ottawa, in October 1958, to Ron and Joan Archer. Ian also leaves his brother, Andrew (Colleen); and sister, Norine (Patrick); brothers-in-law, Fred (Laura) and Scott (Debbie); along with 4 nephews (and 1 great-nephew); and 5 nieces (and 5 great-nieces). Ian maintained many friends from his Ryerson University days, as well as friends from his careers at Blacks and Telus. The passing of Ian will leave a big hole in our hearts, warmed by our many wonderful memories of Ian's great sense of humour, kindness and thoughtfulness. Ian's passion was all things photography, and we know he is corralling those who have gone before, into groups for photographs.
