IAN BRYANS Ian passed away peacefully, but far too young, at the age of 63 on the morning of August 1, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his remarkable parents Helen and Bill Bryans, his heartbroken wife Lynn and he was a proud father to sons Matt (Emily) and Shane (Lianne). He was a terrific brother to sisters Wendy (Jeff) and Martha (Tom). Ian was a fun loving uncle to Tait, Danielle, Brook, Katie, Briana, Laura, Patrick, Shawn, Theo and Carter. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, Ian started his professional career playing CFL football for the Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and won two Grey Cups with the Edmonton Eskimos. Embarking into the business world, Ian worked with AC Nielsen, Alberto- Culver, Sterling Drug, Reckitt Benckiser and was president of Crossmark Brokerage Canada. To finish his highly successful career, Ian dabbled in the boutique food industry and soft medical supplies as a Sales and Logistics Consultant. Ian was the ultimate family man and his BBQs were legendary. Through his coaching of baseball and football, he was a mentor and father figure to many . Above all Ian, our gentle giant was the kindest, most selfless, intelligent but witty man you could ever meet. He was everyone's super hero and will be greatly missed. A celebration of Ian's life will take place soon.
