Ian Lapidus Obituary
LAPIDUS, Ian - Peacefully on Friday, April 16, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ian Lapidus, son of the late Celia and Harold Lapidus. Beloved husband of Gilda for 36 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Evan Lapidus and Stacey and Shane White. Ian will be sadly missed by his sister Cory Zaretsky and husband Dave, brother Mark Lapidus and wife Ester. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Vivian Glenns, Dr. Nina Horvath and the staff of the North York General Hospital Oncology Unit, Dr. Brian Berger and the Hill House Hospice for their compassion and care. We are grateful for the love and support of our many dear friends and family during the past 19 months. Funeral will take place at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Avenue West, for service on Sunday, April 18th at 11 a.m. Shiva at 80 Rockwood Crescent, Thornhill. Dear Gilda and family. So terribly, terribly sorry for OUR tragic loss. It was like losing a brother. I'm already missing our Friday conversations. So sorry we can't be with you all. Love...Sharon, Michael & family.
