Ian Pearson Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ian Robert Pearson on October 11, 2016, at the age of 65 at Trillium Hospital, Mississauga, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Kit Pearson, loving father of Andrea and Michael Pearson, brother of Ann Saulte, Patricia Fogg and the late Margery Pearson. Son of Christine and Robert Pearson. Following a rewarding career cut short by young onset Parkinson's, a dedicated fund raiser for the Parkinson Society of Canada and founder of the Mississauga Superwalk for Parkinson's at Erindale Park. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk-Erin Mills" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.), on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca

A very gentle, compassionate, courageous and dignified soul. He will be greatly missed by all. Colleagues, friends and mostly his family. To Kit, Andrea and Michael my sincere condolences for their loss. For me, it has been a pleasure to have spent so many years working next to him. Listening to his laughter was a bonus. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kit, Andrea and Michael. Ian was a wonderful human being ...such a dedicated professional, both with Air Canada and later in his fundraising efforts. Most of all, a good friend. I am so sorry we lost touch these last few years, I tried but could not find how to connect. I now live in PEI so I won't see you this Friday. But I will be thinking of my many fond memories of Ian. Blessings
