DRESHER, Ida —
Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Scarlett Heights Retirement Residence on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Walter (1998). Loving mother of Ingrid, Ray, Karin, John, Rick and Rima. Cherished Oma of Zoe and Daniele and special friend to Vicky. Ida touched the hearts of everyone she met and she will be sadly missed by her community of loving friends. She had a generous spirit, was devoted to her family and was thankful for all the blessings in her life. She faced many challenges that came her way with resilience and dignity. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and volunteers at Scarlett Heights, her home in the last years of her life. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of the Jane subway) on Monday from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1691 Bloor St. W., on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery.
