Irmgard Edith LIPSIUS

1932 - 2022

LIPSIUS, Irmgard Edith Sunrise: March 2, 1932 Sunset: May 27, 2022 Peacefully, with her son and daughter-in-law at her side, in Woodhaven Long Term Care, Markham. Cherished mom of the late Henry (Marianne), Bernie (Marsha), Richard (late Robin) and Ronald (Joanne); beloved Oma of Matthew, Devon, Eric (Chrissie), Arlene (Stephen), Stefan, Michael, Billy and Lauren (Rogan). Also, the proud Great-Oma of Jude, Isaac, Sophie and Valencia. She had a long and interesting life, living through WWII, immigrating to Canada from Lithuania, being a single mom after a divorce, and enjoying her grand and great-grandchildren. Irmgard was loved and appreciated by all who met her. She was predeceased by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, and her ex-husband. A private family burial will take place. A Celebration of Life will take place later in the summer. If so desired, a donation in her memory, to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, would be greatly appreciated.
