Ivy Skinner Obituary

SKINNER, Ivy Frances (nee Ford) Peacefully at Maple Health Centre, Vaughan, on Thursday, March 27, 2008, in her 88th year. Ivy Skinner, beloved wife of the late Macroy Skinner and dear mother of Philip (Linda) and Pamela Blackert (Bryan). Loving grandmother of Melissa and Alison Birnie and Matthew and Jeffrey Skinner. Sister of the late Cyril Ford (Cay Ripley) and sister-in-law of Ruth (the late Jack Skinner). Dear aunt of Pat, Cathy and the late Michael Ford and Charles Skinner. A celebration of Ivy's life will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Tuesday, April 1st, at 7 p.m. Ivy was a member of the Beta-Sigma-Phi Sorority and a recipient of the Town of Newmarket Volunteer of the Year Award. Ivy will be greatly missed by her friends and caregivers at the Maple Health Centre, where she was affectionately known as Our Princess and where she enjoyed the final four years of her life.
