Dear Nancy and Family

I had the privilege of meeting Travis through his work with First Gulf. He was a prince of a man. Kind, caring, hardworking, thoughtful. Travis always had a smile on his face and a big twinkle in his eye. He was a lover of life. You could feel his excitment as he talked about family and biking and any number of things - his wife, his kids.

My mother Ruth and I are so sad to hear of his passing. Words fall short in this instance.

We hope you find comfort in his memory. But the world is less bright without Travis' exuberant self.

May his memory be for a blessing.

I have fond memories of working with Travis at Internorth. Although we did not spend much time together he always demonstrated the use of first principles and basic logic that worked well throughout his career. We also discussed cycling and our days at Ryerson on a regular basis. As far as I could tell, He was always fair and ethical in his day to day life. I will surely miss him.
