JACK HEATON Obituary

JACK HEATON At Humber Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 18, 2013. Jack in his 94th year, beloved husband of the late Kay. Dear father of Glenn (June) and Elaine (Rob). Loving Grandfather to Nigel, Amy and Andrew. Jack served with the RCAF during WWII. After leaving the service Jack and Kay built their own home in Langstaff, ON. Jack tried his hand at barbering, but discovered an allergy to hair. He changed career paths, returned to school and became an engineer. Jack was a longtime Mason and Legion member. Thanks to good friend and sports buddy Tom Deneault. Thanks to all the staff on 2B at Leisureworld Lawrence for the laughs and amazing care! He will be missed! Resting at PAUL O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Warden and Pharmacy), from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Service and committal in our Chapel on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jack's memory to Parkinson Society Canada, 4211 Yonge St. or a charity of your choice would be appreciated!
