I still think and talk about James to this very day. He had the sweetest soul and was always smiling and in a good mood when I saw him. He was always comforting me, and giving me advice when my own father fell ill with cancer. Little did we know, he was battling his own illness. He never showed self pity and was always there to make me smile when I needed it the most. Thank you for your friendship, I hope you are eternally resting in peace. You are missed everyday James.

Just found out about Jim's passing. Heartfelt sympathies to the whole family. Grew up with the boys on Woodville & used to do errands/store runs for Grannie Aker.(usually with Sparky nipping at my heels) Up until a few years ago, still ran into Jim & often had a quick drink with him at the old Wally. He will be missed.(The Neale Family)

Seems like yesterday Jim, Rose and Momasita were at our wedding. He was mentor, a school mate, neighbour but most of all, a cherished friend. And now he is once again united with his 'little' brother. Rest in Peace.

I was very surprised and sad to hear about Jim's death. It seems like only yesterday that I met Jim through his brother John at Neil McNeil Highschool. I remember Jim for his sense of humour and friendly nature. I'm sure that brother John, mother Van & father Sidney will be waiting for Jim at the pearly gates.
We will remember you all in our thoughts and prayers.
In Deepest Sympathy,
