Sad news of Jim's passing. We grew up together through grade school. Hanging out at Adam Beck and Bingham Ave. Thoughts and prayers with his family and friends.

Jim and I were best buds since he was a teenager. We did a lot of road trips together. Top road trip was to Louisville to see Secretariat run in the Kentucky Derby in 1973. I will miss him a lot. Save a place for me Jim. Good bye buddy. See you in the next life. Your pal Pat.

A lot of good times and laughs over the years. Including Hockey Night in Canada, cottage time, 'nuclear bomb' fishing as Steve recalls it, darts, other games and cards with a few visits to the Horse tracks. Lots of fun on Bingham Avenue, Bingham-Kingswood Lane and at Adam beck School yard. Hopefully never RIP. Kids forever!!!!!

Although he wasn't an uncle by blood, we called him "Uncle Jack" anyways. He knew my brother and I from birth, and was part of the Ord family since way before we were born. A very dear friend of my dad. I'll remember him coming up to the cottage, playing darts and lawn games and going fishing. I'll remember his love for Volkswagens and the track. And of course, his love for Ashley. I'll remember having him come over for pizza and Leafs, first at our family home, and later when I moved out he and my dad would keep the tradition alive and come over for pizza and Leafs up until about a year or two ago. Our cats and dogs would insist on pets and he always obliged. Great sense of humour and laugh. A quiet, yet funny and kind man. That's how I will remember him. Xo.
