JAMES FORRESTER Obituary
FORRESTER, JAMES "JIM" In his 83rd year, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Jim left us this week on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Jim is survived, and will be deeply missed by Jackie, his wife of 62 years; his daughters, Kay (Ian Parkhill) and Julie (Ian Brooks); and by his grandchildren, Jamie, Scott and Holly. Jim was also a great-grandfather to Abigail. Jim was an avid sportsman, enjoying squash, tennis, and golf for many years. In addition, he also enjoyed many happy years of sailing in the Georgian Bay area. He was an exceptional sales engineer, working in different industries, particularly the plastic moulding field. This allowed himself, Jackie, and their visiting family to enjoy twelve years in Colorado, a time they all cherished. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. I will miss Jim very much...his wit, his charm, his cunning tennis strokes but most of all his strong, positive character. He was truly an admirable person. Thanks, Jim, for all the good times and great conversations. Knowing you was a privilege. Ron Tansley
