JAMES HALLAS Obituary

JAMES J. HALLAS Passed away peacefully with dignity at home with wife and daughter at his side on December 13, 2016, in his 85th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Nancy and the late Betty. Much loved father of Susan (John) Hayes, Michael, late Richard (Cynthia), Randall (Shelley), Daniel (Kimberley), Jacqueline (Rob) McFarland and Jennifer (Glenn) Thompson. Will be missed by his 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, also by cousin Olga Melnyk. Visitation will be held at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Rd., Pickering, ON, Monday, December 19th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Panakhyda in the chapel.

Our condolences to you and the family during this time of loss. Our mother, Anna, and Jimmy's father, Nicholas were brother and sister. We are the siblings of Anna Hallas Busko and Mike Busko; Mary, Bob, Emily and Michael. Although we have not been in communication for many years, we all have wonderful memories of days of old.
