Diane, I just saw the notice of your father's passing. I know how much he meant to you and how much you will miss him. Remember, those you love will never really be gone as long as they remain in your heart. Take care and know a friend is thinking of you at this time. Suzanne

Aunt Lorna and Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Jimmy was always so nice to me and help full. I love the tapestry he gave me that he had made. He was a very caring person. He will be missed. Take care, my heart goes out to you.

Dearest Dad,
it's almost been one week and it was a shock, to hear, that you had passed away. mom and i will try to cope without your presence, however, i am not certain how mom will manage, as you have been in her life well since, mom was fifteen. all i can promise, is that i will do my best, to be there for mom. as i had mentioned yesterday, you taught me to be kind and thoughtful person that i am today and i will continue to do so, just like granny taught yourself. if you see aunt muriel, give her a kiss from me. secondly, give a kiss to nanny, granny, auntie toni, uncle bob, great aunt irene, uncle stan, aunt kathryn, cousin blossom, cousin ray, cousin enid. if you see mr. & mrs. macmurchy, give her a kiss from me and let her know that i spoke with their son john today. if you see terry fox or karen carpenter, please let them know, that i loved them both very much. if you see michael landon, lorne greene, dan blocker, marian morrison, frances gumm, sammy davis jr., david niven, sir john mills, carry grant, etc., oh yes your favourite, have you met susan hayward?! i hope that you have, dad. : )) i am certain that you are having fun in heaven, entertaining all playing the piano. enjoy!
lovingly,
diane : )

dearest dad you were like
a "candle in the wind." it was because of you, i learned to love music. we will miss hearing you play, those eighty eight keys and your unforgetable touch and sound. you introduced me to the carpenters, that night in the 60's when you were watching johnny carson. thanks to you that i was able to see them that day that i came home from camp oconto, after seeing the orthodentist. their concert at the o'keefe, was the best surprise to date. the other time was the day that there was a conflict with john organ being in kitchener and my habitat for humanity house dedication on the same day and luckilly a few hours apart. i don't know how you managed to be in both places and you didn't miss the dedication. i thank you, for that day, dad. : )
that christmas, that you had copied granny's setting and surprised me with my ring.
you taught me to be a christian and to be loyal, honest, kind to others and to be there, for my family and friends.
you will be missed. please give my love to all my deceased loved ones upmon heaven. especially, my granny, nanny, bampa and to my animals, taki, honeybea, spicey and kodibear and amymae and the others.
lovingly,
diane
