Jim and I went to Monarch Park Secondary at the same time, he was popular around school everybody knew Jim. Some years later 1978, he was kind enough to take my business photos for me when I started work on Parliament St in Cabbagetown.
I remember Jim as a sweet guy, so very sorry to hear of his passing, condolences to the Family.

I am saddened to read of Jim's passing. Wish he could have had some more years to do the many things he wished to do in his retirement.

I and my late wife Glenda knew Jim for 25 years, as his neighbor on Parliament Street. Many good memories of Cabbagetown Festivals, Jim helping us with our different cameras, talks over coffees on every imaginable topic.

My deepest sympathy to Rose and all the family.

Christina and I were very saddened to hear of the passing of Jim. We were neighbours for a number of years. He was always keen to tell a story, joke, or talk music. He developed so many of our family photos before the age of the digital camera, and always did an exceptional job with the negatives, trying his best to overcome our lack of expertise with our camera. He is also sadly missed and fondly remembered by by sister, Marg, who lived in Cabbegetown for many years and was a regular customer at the store. Our deepest sympathies to Rose, Jessica and Olivia.
