Still in shock. I've known Jim for close to 50 years. On Sunday we would go to his Mother and 'Grambo's place for dinner. I know Jim from Sigma Chi Fraternity. We lived there for years. Great times, memories and adventures.

I remember Jim from when we both went to Malvern C.I. in Toronto. He was a good friend and great guy and I am sorry that we lost touch over the years. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family.

Wow, some death completely rocks one's soul; Jim's is one of those, as one of the few grade Niners to play Jr football that year. Jim taunted the hell out of me and used his height to keep me away. He was also the first to welcome me to the team, insisting that a shy Niner eat lunch with the "older guys" and included me in many of their activities. By grade 11, most of those Srs had graduated, rarely to be seen or heard from. Fast forward 30-plus years and the news got out that I have MS. I was curious to know how Jim found out; at the time, we were not FB friends or had any contact in decades. Yet he was one of the first people to contact me, offering words of encouragement. It has been a while since we touched base. Now that won't happen. Rest well, my friend. You will never be forgotten
