STOGDILL, JAMES It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved James on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. James is now reunited with his dear parents, Josephine and Keith, and son, Greggory. James was the loving husband of Donna, with whom he spent many devoted years. He was the cherished father of James (Indra), Stacy (Bob Dignan – predeceased) and Greggory. He was the devoted and proud grandfather of Nick (Lindsay), Natalie (Dylan Evans), Jonathan, Taylor, Emily and Brandon; and great-grandfather to Landon and Felicity. James was the admired brother of Daniel. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing this true gentleman. James was a man of many interests and talents. With a keen interest in current affairs and the markets, he was always up for a discussion about what was going on in the world. Sunday dinners were a special time for his family, with James at the head of the table. Family and friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home "Brampton" Chapel (289 Main Street North), on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Scott Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 p.m. In light of the pandemic, with present restrictions imposed by the government, visitation has been limited to a capacity of 36 guests. We ask that you please contact the family or the funeral home to indicate your desire to attend. We respectfully ask that attendees observe social and physical distancing, and wear masks. For those unable to attend the funeral home in person, the service will be livestreamed.
