Giacomo & I are so sad to learn of Jane's death. Our condolences to Ray, her children Christopher, Maria & Mark & their spouses & children.
We first met Jane around 1962 when they lived on Briar Hill Ave, we were neighbours. She was a brilliant concert pianist, I remember driving her to one of her benefit concerts to Providence Villa, it was in the fall & all the lights were out in Toronto, it was quite dark & I had a tough time at traffic light intersections but I delivered her safe & sound & in time for her concert. I cannot remember how she got back, maybe Jean picked her up?
It brings back so many memories...
I remember making pear honey together in her kitchen on Briar Hill, my parents had 2 big pear trees & I had brought a bushel of pears!
The meetings of our Book Club...we each had to host a book & hers was the Golden Pavillion, she opened the door, she was wearing the most beautufull Kimono & haad done her hair in the style of a Geisha girl, she looked stunning, she had decorated her house with many Oriental objets d'Art & served Oriental food which we ate with chopsticks.
I could write a book of all the wonderful memories that we have of her. She was a beautiful young woman & we will always remember her as such.
Again our most sincere condolences to all her family, especially you Ray her husband of many years.
Much Love
Irene & Giacomo Capobianco
