Janet Macrae Obituary

JANET ELIZABETH MacRAE We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Janet Elizabeth MacRae on Sunday, February 15th, 2009. She will be sadly missed by her cherished husband Jim Arcadi (Snuggly), her mother and father, Ron and Joyce MacRae, sister Debra, nieces Megan and Rachel, nephew Michael, mother-in-law Brunina, brothers-in-law Fiorenzo and Angelo and their wives Claudia and Teresa, as well as her dear friends Val and Sam, Donna, Suzanne and Jerry. Janet enjoyed life to the fullest. Her love of sports, such as tennis, skating, skiing, cycling and roller-blading, will be remembered by all who knew her. Janet also had a love of travelling. She especially loved her summers in Southampton, Ontario, with her family and later with her husband Jim. She had many fond memories of walking along the beach, hiking and enjoying the sunsets. Janet's zest and passion for life, her beautiful smile and contagious laughter were among her dearest attributes. All the friends she made throughout her short life will treasure the time they spent with her. Janet touched the hearts of many with her warm sensitive spirit. Her beauty and light will stay in our hearts forever. Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (at Windermere, east of Jane subway) on Friday, February 20, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 3 o'clock. Cremation.
