Jean Marjorie King

KING, Jean Marjorie (nee Underwood) - Born in Toronto on July 30, 1920. Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2009 at Christie Gardens in Toronto. Predeceased by her husband Harry in 2001. Sadly missed by her children Bruce (Valerie Jones) and Laurie (Rodger Wells) and her granddaughters Erin Wells and Jaime (Matt Quick). Shortly before her death she heard the news of the birth of her great- granddaughter Ella Quick. Jean was a charter and longtime active member of St. James United Church in Etobicoke. Her family would like to thank the staff of Christie Gardens for the conscientious care she received. A Service to celebrate Jean's life will be held at St. James United Church, 400 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Etobicoke on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the Service. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
