SYED, Jebreil After a courageous battle, Jebreil Syed passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the age of 28. Beloved son of Mohammed Syed and Arlene Chee Foon and step-son of Steve Robins, Lisa Zografou and Roxana Stor. Loving brother of Omarr, Alexia, Nicholas, Nadia, Tyler, Aliya, Kimberley, Alex and Caroline. Will be sadly missed by his grandmother Vilma, nephew Xavier and nieces Kasiyah (goddaughter) and Zahria. Friends are invited to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 1-5 p.m., with a Catholic Service to follow on Monday, February 12th at 11 a.m., St. John Vianney Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie - all are welcome. Following the interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, guests are invited to return to the Parish Hall at St. John Vianney for a reception luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
