Dear Martin
We have just heard of Jeff's passing and we are deeply saddened by the news. Jeff was such a wonderful, gentle man with always a kind word - he will be so missed by us.

My sincerest condolences to friends and family. I worked with Jeff at the CRA for several years in Corporate Development. I always admired Jeff for his dedication and good humour. He was a pleasure to work with and an all round great guy.

To the Baszak family and Martin: I had the pleasure to work with Jeff at Revenue Canada a good 9 years ago but still remember his guidance and good words he had for everyone.He made an impression in my working life. My prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.

I worked with Jeff many years ago. Jeff was an exceptional colleague. I remember him as a true professional, a great supporter of justice and fairness and a fully dedicated individual. I have admired him since I have had the chance to know him. (1996-97) I am extremely saddened by his death.

To Martin, the Baszak and Kane families, I was so sadden and shocked to hear of Jeff's passing.
I met Jeff 25+ years ago, he was a good friend.. I have many special memories of him. I'll miss his fun and laughter, his love of life.
Jeff will be missed by so many, he had many friends.
RIP my dear friend, Jeff you were very special to me.

To Martin, the Baszak and Kane families, please accept my deepest and most heartfelt condolences.
Jeff was one of the most genuine, kind, and selfless people I have ever met. When I began working in the public service, Jeff took me under his wing and not only served as a mentor, but became a steadfast friend who I held in the highest regard.
My fondest memories of Jeff go back to times spent at Zoe's lounge in Ottawa discussing music, travel, and family life, and observing how the servers and staff recognized and appreciated Jeff for the kindness and respect he demonstrated towards them.
Jeff was a gentleman, a class act, and truly one of a kind, and I consider myself privileged to have known and called him a friend. I will miss his presence dearly.
