Jeffrey BELL Obituary

BELL, Jeffrey John April 18, 1957 - January 4, 2022 It is with shattered hearts that we announce the death of Jeffrey Bell in his 65th year. Jeffrey is survived by his mother Carole Bell and predeceased by his father Ronald Bell (1990). Jeffrey was the eldest of five children and will be sadly missed by his siblings, Jay Bomberry (Mike), Jill George (Steve), Judy Saabas (Paul), Jamie Bell (Kelly). Jeff was "Uncle Jeffrey" to Megan (Seamus), Robyn (Rusty), Emma, Corey (Carly), Michelle, Kevin (Brittany), Ronnie, Jamie (Sarah), Brendan (Darby), Keegan, Carson, Griffin. He was "Great Uncle Jeffrey" to Sam, Freddie, Cayman, Lakey, Stevie. Jeffrey was cousin to Paul Urquhart and nephew to Noreen Urquhart (Bell) and Gord Urquhart (both deceased). Jeffrey was so loved by his family and all who knew him! The dedication and unwavering devotion to Jeffrey by his parents and later his Mother into her elderly years is a true example to all of the role and unconditional love of a parent. Jeffrey gave his siblings and their children the greatest gift a person can receive throughout their life. The gift of learning compassion and empathy but most of all to be accepting of those with Special Needs. He helped us all to learn to appreciate the simple joys in life that many of us take for granted. We are the ones who benefited by having Jeffrey in our lives! Jeffrey was known by hundreds of people as Mr. Unionville! He had many unique qualities, interests and achievements. Jeffrey had the gift of "gab" and was always referred to as Mr. Social. Jeff had a hat collection unsurpassed! If he wanted your hat it would be off your head and on his before you knew what happened! Jeffrey was a talented swimmer and one of his greatest accomplishments was winning three gold medals in the Special Olympics. It was a very proud moment for him and his family. Jeffrey loved to dance and was usually the last one off the dance floor. It was great to have him at all the parties especially when the husbands didn't want to dance! Jeffrey loved to watch wrestling, especially Friday night SmackDown, and often watched with his nieces and nephews when they were growing up. Much to our chagrin!! We will forever love you Jeffrey. There will be a private family service. Jeffrey was a client of Participation House. Contributions in Jeffrey's memory may be made to Participation House.
