Jekabs VIMANIS Obituary
VIMANIS, Jekabs (Jack) - May 23, 1922 - February 4, 2013 Passed away suddenly and peacefully in his 90th year. He was at his home in Bracebridge, Ontario, his favourite place in the world. Jack will be forever missed by his children and their families: Marite Gerelus and children Mark and Stephen, Inga Jhajj (Inderjit) and children Aman, Nihal and Tara, John Vimanis (Joanne) and dear friends and relatives in Toronto, Calgary, Bracebridge and Latvia. We will carry on bravely, remembering his unfailing kindness, dry sense of humour and personally forged unique perspectives on life. A private memorial gathering has been held. Rest in Peace Grampy, you have had a long, full life.
