Jim WILSON Obituary

WILSON, Jim - President of W. E. Manners Plumbing Suddenly passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the age of 67. Doting husband of Margaret (nee Lamb) Wilson. Extraordinary father of Christie (Dom), Michael (Laura) and Jen (Mike). Proud and loving grandpa of Vincent, Dominic, Summer, Trevor, Andrew and Jesse. Dear brother of Paul (Kay), Mary Ellen (Len), Susan (Rick), Jeannie (Steve) and will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, friends in the Beach Neighbourhood as the "King of Kingston Road". Sadly passed away before fulfilling his dream of winning the lottery but recently managed to hit two royal flushes in two consecutive days. Jim owned and successfully operated the 100 year old W. E. Manners and Son Ltd. Plumbing Company based in The Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family. I am ashamed that I just learned of Jim's passing, I honestly thought that Jim retired years ago.
When I was starting my business in the East End, Jim was not only a great person and plumber but also imparted wise words to me that I have always keep in my life.
Thank you Jim, may your memory be always fresh in my mind.

Dear Marg: just learned of Jim's passing,sorry I missed his funeral. Fond memories of growing up in Corpus. He was my plumber for 30 years,as honest and kind as there is. Lost a wonderful guy. He and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Brian Sullivan.

Dear Marg, the sad news of Jim's death made it's way to California via Cathy Cassidy. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I have such good memories of the years growing up at Corpus Christi with families like the Wilson's in Toronto - and our Sunda night dances an when you and Jim were dating.

We were fortunate to meet and work with Jim while building his cottage near Haliburton. He made the job allot of fun. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this sad time - he will be missed.
