I am saddened to hear of the passing of Joan. My condolences to her brother Nelson and the rest of the family. I first met Joan about 10 years ago. In all that time I always remember her as being kind, compassionate and considerate, a selfless soul. I always enjoyed our discussions during Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I will remember her fondly.

We were all fortunate to have met Joan, a fine, compassionate, caring and loving person. The last time I met her at one of the AC Christmas luncheons she was so very happy to see me and brief me on the latest in her life. Always interesting and uplifting events and projects. I will never forget her and "the Bay Street Rollers", the Golden years of our company. My sincere condolences to her family for their loss. I share your grief and sadness but keep her memory alive.

I worked with Joan at the Bay St. Office. We were called the Bay Street Rollers. In 1979, I was pregnant, and I panicked when I could not fit into my uniform. Joan came to my rescue. She ordered two of her size 18 uniforms and i wore them until Grant was born. Then I returned them to her. Joan was so generous and lots of fun! She would babysit Grant on her lunch if I came to visit the office, and let me sneek out for a few minutes at Simpsons. I will keep wonderful memories of Joan forever in my heart.

My condolences to Joan's family and friends.
I worked with Joan in the 70's when she was working for Air Canada in the Ticket office. She was a mentor, inspirational and we shared many conversations of travel, San Diego, life... We lost touch over the years but Joan was a busy lady, even in retirement.. Humber College teaching travel and tourism, and all her other interests.
A lady who lived a full, interesting life for herself and for others. Warm, sparkling and I would just love to give her a hug. Warm memories of Joan and what a wonderful legacy to leave in life.
My Joan RIP.

Good memories of Joan when we worked together for TCA at the Royal York Hotel. Especially her pageboy hair cut rolled under a the back. She had a great smile and wonderful personality. We lost contact with each other over the years....very interesting reading all about her lifetime accomplishments. My thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

I wish to send my condolences to the Dancy family. I met Joan in the late 1980's following her retirement from Air Canada. She was a wonderful mentor to many of us at Gemini who were quite new to airline reservation systems. I always remember her telling me how she was a "people person" and she certainly was. I am so sorry for your loss.
