Joan MACINNIS Obituary

MACINNIS, Joan Caroline - Passed away peacefully in her 78 year at the Welland Hospital on August 14, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Ronald (deceased). Adoringly remembered by her four daughters: Kelly (Blair), Lauren (Ross), Rhonda (Mo), Pamela (Rob), seven grandchildren, sisters- in-law Carol (late brother Gord), Josephine, June (Rick) and all whose lives she touched. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ching-Lu Li, Dr. Sandy MCDonald and the Staff at the RVH for their compassionate and loving care. The family will receive friends at Grace United Church, 350 Grove Street East, Barrie on Saturday, August 25th at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at her home on 14 Springdale Drive, Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pre and Post Perianaesthesia Education for Staff at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.

We offer our sympathy to all the MacInnis daughters on the loss of your very caring mother. However, we send special condolences to Kelly and Sam. Your mom was such a support to you both -- and believe me she enjoyed every minute of it. So glad Mag and I saw her at Sam's performance in December and had a chance to exchange hugs.
