Joan OSBORNE

OSBORNE, Joan (Trueman) - July 13th, 1938 - June 17th, 2012 Joan passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer at Hospice Simcoe on June 17, 2012. Celebrating 55 years together, beloved wife of Mel. Loving Mom of Dan (Wanda), Glen (Diane) and Kim (Jay). Devoted Nana to her 5 grandchildren: Tori (Sean), Christopher, Tyler, Allan and Nicole. Daughter of the late George and Violet Trueman. Dear sister to Diane (Murray), Donna (Robin) and Jim (Carmela). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held in Joan's honour at Mapleview Community Church, 300 Mapleview Drive West, Barrie, Ontario L4N 9E7, on Wednesday, June 27th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Simcoe, 336 Penetanguishene Road, RR 1, Barrie, Ontario L4M 7C2, would be greatly appreciated.
