JOAN SORA Obituary

SORA, JOAN YASUKO January 7, 1924 - January 2, 2023 In loving memory of Joan Yasuko Sora, passed away peacefully at the age of 98. Joan, daughter of Jukichi and Ryu Sora, was born in Cumberland, BC. She leaves behind her sister, Ruby (late Art); brother, Ray (Nancy); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Stoney (late Miyo); and sister, Mary (late Kaz). Many thanks to the staff at Chartwell Trilogy Long Term Care Residence for their care of Joan during the last years. Joan will be buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with family members in attendance. Memorial donations may be made to Momiji Seniors Residence, Chartwell Trilogy Long Term Care Residence, Bayview United Church or a charity of choice.
