VAUGHAN, Joanne Marie 1952-2021 Passed away peacefully on August 15, 2021 with Shannon and Louis by her side. She will be missed by her devoted hubby and best friend Louis Temporale. Her loving daughters Carrie and Shannon and her stepson Keir. Devoted grandmother to all of her grandchildren. Joanne was adventurous and liked to travel. Her favourite place to be in the world was at her island cottages on Georgian Bay. Joanne and Louis spent many years together enjoying sunsets and a good glass of wine by the fire. She liked being in the water, bird watching, going for hikes, ATV rides around the island and going out in the canoe. She also liked spending her spare time researching and reading over Louis' numerous architectural projects. She also loved spending time with her granddaughter Zoey who brought her much happiness and joy. She dedicated herself to her career and was successful from a young age. She was a loyal employee for over 30 years as the International Operations Manager, creating budgets, designing and caring for her buildings. Even while in the hospital, she worked on completing the design of the penthouse suite commercial interiors as her final project. She was kind, loving and thoughtful. Everyone loved her laugh, it was so deep and contagious. She will always be loved and her memory cherished. Visitation will be held at ELGIN MILLS FUNERAL CENTRE, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd. E., Richmond Hill, 905- 737-1720, on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 between 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 26th at St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica, 65 Bond St., Toronto, ON M5B 1X1 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow St. Mary's Cemetery 2099 Dickson Rd., Mississauga, ON L5B 1Y6.
