I was so sorry to read of the passing of a dear friend, Stu. I have known him and his late wife, Elsie, since I arrived in Toronto in 1955. I lived with his sister, Marion, for some time so saw Stu & Elsie quite regularly. My late brother served in the Royal Navy during WWII. He was stationed in Dundee, became friendly with the Anderson family and spent many of his leaves with them.
When Stuart joined Standard Life I was his first client and still carry the insurance policy.
Over the years life separated us but we always stayed in touch, sometimes through a phone call but always with a note in a Christmas card when we would update each other on past happenings.
Stu was a kind caring gentleman and I shall miss him.
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
Sincerely,
Margaret George
