JOHN COLOSIMO It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of John Colosimo on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Humber River Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished husband and true soulmate of Phyllis for over 35 years. Adored father of Lina Aykler (Justin), Rosario (Jessica) and Alicia. Loving Nonno of his precious Carter John. Treasured son of Rosario and Lina Colosimo and beloved son-in-law of Ciriaco and Rosa Grieco. Dear brother of Cathy Bellisaro (Mario) and brother- in-law of Celestino Grieco (Cathy), Anna Grieco and Francesca Carneiro (Jose). He will be fondly remembered by all of his nieces, nephews and many friends. A true family man, John was happiest surrounded by his wife, kids and extended family at home and at the cottage. A humble man, he touched all that knew him with his generous and compassionate spirit and was loved by all of his family, friends and and those that worked with him. We will truly miss him. Resting at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, 45 Ludstone Drive, on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens.
