JOHN (JACK) HALL COWIE
It is with regret we announce the passing of Jack on July 16, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Eva and loving father of Barbara and Rob (Holly). Proud grandfather of Christopher, Alexandra, Brooke and Taylor. He will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law Vera and Gina.
Jack immigrated to Canada from Aberdeen, Scotland in 1957 and fell in love with his adopted country. He especially enjoyed boating and water skiing at the cottage in Muskoka.
A special thanks to the staff at the North York General Hospital for the great care they provided.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Celebration of Life will follow in the R.S. Kane Chapel at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North York General Hospital - Palliative Care. Jack we will miss you. We have many great memories of times at the cottage and Suzanne will never forget your patience in teaching her to waterski.
