JOHN CUMMINGS Obituary

JOHN FRASER CUMMINGS Passed away peacefully on May 30, 2012 at the Juravinski Hospital. He was the best friend and beloved husband of Bonnie for 27 years. Loving and proud father of Cassandra, Megan and Cameron. John will be deeply missed by his parents Robert and Mary Lou and his siblings. He cherished time with his family, was a great friend to all he met, was very bright and articulate and believed in living life at full speed. He was proud and honoured to have been a part of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, making it to the rank of Major before retiring. Friends and family will be received at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 1-3 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel; reception to follow. Donations in memory of John to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated by his family. Online condolences may be made to www.oakviewfuneral.ca

John (and Bonnie) always made us feel included and made us feel welcome in their home. I will always remember their family as being fun, open to others and sharing their love of life to family and friends. They are a family anyone would hope to be a part of.
