JOHN DUDYS Obituary
JOHN DUDYS April 2, 1926 - September 22, 2015 Peacefully at the age of 89 years. Leaves behind his loving wife Marie (nee Bordun). Loving father of Julie (Jeff) and Johny (Annette). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Krystle (Jordan), Victoria and Andrew and great-grandchild Dylan. Will also be sadly missed by sister- in-law Stephanie and her family, nieces Christine and her family, Natalie and family in Ukraine. Born in Boratyn, Ukraine, John came to Canada in 1952 and enjoyed a full life, being self-employed as a furniture restoration specialist (Johnny's Finishing Shop). He was active with the church and loved singing in the choir (Prometheus and Burlaka). Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street, on Sunday, September 27th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. (Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m.). A Divine Liturgy and burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 28th at All Saints of Ukraine Chapel, 1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice in John's honour. Online condolences may be left at www.cardinalfuneralhomes.com
