It is with deep sorrow I convey my condolences to Edit for having worked with her at CNT Engineering I was not aware that john had passed away until searching for relatives of former associates from work. I hope this message reaches Edit, wherever she may be. My thoughts are with her.

John was a dear friend for many years and I will miss him. He loved music and had a detailed knowledge of a wide repertoire, especially Mozart. He greatly expanded my appreciation of Otto Klemperer with vivid recollections of Klemperer's conducting in Budapest. Mozart's Don Giovanni was John's favourite opera and he spent much of his long life searching for the ideal performance. One of the highlights of my life was conducting a Mozart concert in Budapest and having John make a surprise appearance backstage after the concert.John was a man of science by profession but a dreamer in the best sense and a devoted friend. My wife and I send our deepest sympathies to Edit.

I worked in a different area of Ontario Hydro but we all knew John as the expert in his area and periodically called on him when we faced difficult problems. John was a gentle and friendly colleague. My best wishes to the Endrenyi family.

My heart felt condolences to the Endreyni family. John was a real gentleman and a peaceful soul. He and I shared similar thesis topic for our PhD degrees, and we worked in Ontario Hydro in different departments. I always respected him for his gentle behaviour towards others.
May God bless his soul.. I will remember him always.
