GOMEZ, JOHN Devoted husband of Anne for 72 remarkable years, John peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 4, 2021, in St. Catharines General Hospital, after celebrating his 94th birthday on December 30th. Proud father of Carole (Rick Felton), Nance (Pete Fowler) and Janet (Paul Siery). Cherished grandfather of Amy (Paul Orbeck), Mary Rose (Adam Pollock), Johnathan Siery, Kevin Siery and Julie Siery. Loving Poppa to Alexis Demuth, Camden Demuth and Riley Orbeck. John was a proud Veteran of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force. On November 6th, the occasion of their 72nd wedding anniversary, John and Anne were honoured by the Policeman now sharing his badge, #1194, with a Retired Detective Badge from the Chief of Toronto Police. This token meant so much to him and our thanks to all those of the Toronto Police Department who made this special presentation possible. A Celebration of Life will be held when travel restrictions allow the family to all be together. No flowers please.
